  Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Toronto Transit Commission board

  The Civic Appointments Committee will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission board. The Civic Appointments Committee will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend one candidate to City Council for appointment.

  The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission board: TTC2-506; TTC2-529; TTC2-651; TTC2-844; and TTC2-858. 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b, and 2 to the report (February 5, 2025) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission board.

  Staff recommendation as filed

  The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Civic Appointments Committee select 5 candidates listed in Table 1 of Confidential Attachment 1 to be interviewed at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission board. 2. The Civic Appointments Committee direct that Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b, and 2 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission board.
