This report recommends the appointment of two individuals to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee.
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint Susan Gapka to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, or until the mandate is completed, whichever comes first. 2. City Council waive Section 8.6, Interviewing Candidates, of the City of Toronto Public Appointments Policy, to appoint LeZlie lee kam to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, or until the mandate is completed, whichever comes first. 3. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1, 2 and 3 to the report (May 28, 2025) from the Chief People Officer remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee.

The Chief People Officer recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the individuals listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the Two- Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026 or until their mandate is completed, whichever comes first. 2. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 and Confidential Attachments 2-3 to the report (May 28, 2025) from the Chief People Officer remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee.

Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Toronto Public Library Board
The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates to interview for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board. Following the interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee will recommend one candidate for appointment to City Council.
The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board: TPL2-826; TPL2-855; TPL2-1000; and TPL2-1026. 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b, and 2 to the report (May 28, 2025) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.

The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Civic Appointments Committee select 4 of the candidates listed in Confidential Attachment 1a for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board. 2. The Civic Appointments Committee direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b, and 2 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.

Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Toronto Zoo Board
The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates to interview for appointment to the Toronto Zoo Board. Following the interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee will recommend one candidate for appointment to City Council.
The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Zoo Board: TZB2-171; TZB2-225; and TZB2-234. 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1a, 1b, and 2 to the report (May 28, 2025) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Zoo Board.
