Promoting Positive Childhood Experiences to Improve Health Outcomes Across the Lifespan
Toronto Public Health will present on Adverse Childhood Experiences, their lifelong health impacts, and their disproportionate effects on Indigenous, Black, racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, low-income and other equity-denied communities. The item will highlight protective factors, the Ontario Early Adversity and Resilience Framework, and Toronto Public Health's current and emerging interventions to strengthen child, family and community resilience.

Black-Led Climate Action Grants
Environment, Climate and Forestry will present on the Black-led Climate Action Grants program, aligned with TransformTO and the Toronto Black Food Sovereignty Action Plan. Starting in 2026, the program will provide annual financial and in-kind navigation support to 10-15 Black-led climate action initiatives, centering community-driven and culturally grounded climate solutions.

Social Development will provide an update on the final implementation year of the Toronto Action Plan to Confront Anti-Black Racism, including Year Five highlights, legacy initiatives, and cumulative impact from 2018-2024.
