  This is to advise that the staff report on the 2018 audited financial statements for The Board of Directors of the Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts (operating as Civic Theatres Toronto) will be submitted after the agenda has closed for the Board meeting on January 24, 2020 but will be available for the meeting.

  The purpose of this report is to update the Board on the 2019 fourth quarter financial forecast.

Requested the President and Chief Executive Officer, TO Live to report back to the Board with a detailed 2019 fourth quarter financial forecast through the Audit Committee at its meeting on February 11, 2020. 2. Directed that Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (January 15, 2020) from the President and Chief Executive Officer, TO Live remain confidential in its entirety because if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.

  Department of Canadian Heritage Grant Application

  The purpose of this report is to seek authorization from the Board of Directors of TO Live to submit a grant application to the Department of Canadian Heritage - the Canada Arts Presentation Fund (under the Professional Arts Festivals and Performing Arts Series Presenters) in April 2020 to assist with the presentation of dance programs in the 2020-21 performance season.

  The Board of Directors of TO Live: 1. Authorized and directed TO Live Management to submit a grant application to the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, together with all necessary supporting documentation, provided that it meets the eligibility criteria of the grant application.
