Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy Update
Wayne Chu, Manager, Poverty Reduction Strategy Office, Social Development, Finance and Administration will make a presentation on poverty reduction strategic action plan activities. The presentation will review initiatives to ensure that the specific experiences and barriers that persons with disabilities face, particularly within the context of the City's COVID 19 recovery and rebuild efforts, are considered.

Update on the Dundas Street Renaming Petition and Accessibility
Wayne Reeves, Chief Curator, City of Toronto Museums and Heritage Services will give an update on Dundas Street Renaming Project. This update will summarize Council's decisions to date regarding this project, as well as next steps, including opportunities to involve the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Yonge TOmorrow Initiative and Accessibility
Johanna Kyte, Senior Project Manager, Major Projects, Transportation Services will provide an overview of yonge TOmorrow. Yonge Street is an iconic destination in the heart of downtown Toronto and it has been experiencing high volumes of pedestrian activity and development. yongeTOmorrow is a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment studying ways to increase pedestrian space and improve the way people move through and experience Yonge Street between College/Carlton Street and Queen Street. The presentation will include an overview and seek feedback on accessibility considerations to ensure that the new street design is developed to better serve everyone.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee: 1. Communicates to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee and City Council its support for recommended design concept 4C of the yongeTOmorrow Environmental Assessment to create a safer and more accessible Yonge Street for people living with disabilities.
