City of Toronto 2025-2029 Disability Inclusion Action Plan
This report responds to the requirement under both the City of Toronto's Corporate Accessibility Policy and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) for a multi-year accessibility plan which is reviewed and updated at least once every five years. The 2025-2029 Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) is the City's new accessibility plan which outlines guiding principles, goals and 85 specific actions that reaffirm the City's commitment to building an equitable and inclusive society that values the contributions of people with disabilities. The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) provides a clear path forward on the identification, removal and prevention of accessibility barriers, will improve awareness and understanding of legislated requirements and expectations, and helps embed disability inclusion into all City operations. The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) is a key component of the City's accessibility framework which outlines how the City will provide an accessible environment in which people with disabilities can access the City's goods, services and facilities, including buildings, public spaces, information and communications, and employment opportunities in a way that meets their individual needs. The City is equally committed to supporting City employees through policies, tools, and resources that promote a disability inclusive workplace and support employees in designing and delivering accessible programs, services and spaces.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends that the Executive Committee recommend that: 1. City Council adopt the City of Toronto 2025-2029 Disability Inclusion Action Plan as set out in Appendix A to the report (June 9, 2025) from the Chief People Officer, People and Equity.

Toronto Strategic Parking Framework - Accessibility Feedback
Michael Cude, Project Manager, and Naz Capano, Manager, Transportation Services will give a presentation on Toronto Strategic Parking Framework - Accessibility Feedback. The Strategic Parking Framework, IE22.2 , will act as a guide to current and future parking related projects. The presentation will describe how the policies and directives of the project will improve parking management in the City of Toronto.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends that the Infrastructure and Environment Committee recommend that: 1. City Council request the General Manager, Transportation Services to: a. implement additional accessible parking spaces by: i. integrating accessible parking considerations into all analyses and decision-making related to the provision, removal, or reconfiguration of on-street parking spaces; and ii. establishing guidelines to create a standardized minimum threshold - either a fixed number or percentage-of accessible parking spaces to be provided within any curbside parking zone. b. present the guidelines to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee at its December 11, 2025 meeting.

Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee Input on the City's Winter Maintenance Program Review
The purpose of this report is to provide an opportunity for the consultant, Municipal VU Consulting Inc. (MVU), to gather direct input from the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee on the City's winter maintenance program.
