Overnight Snow Clearing on Commercial Properties - Accessibility Feedback
Jessica Stanley, Senior Policy and Research Officer, Municipal Licensing and Standards will provide a presentation on a directive from the Infrastructure and Environment Committee to explore the feasibility of prohibiting overnight snow clearing within commercial properties that are located 100 metres or less from residential areas. The presentation outlines relevant regulations and key issues for permitting overnight snow clearing, presents staff's preliminary recommendation and seeks Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee's input on accessibility for the staff report process.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee: 1. Communicates its support to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee for staff's preliminary recommendation against prohibiting overnight snow clearing of commercial properties within 100 metres of residential areas.

CaféTO 2021 - Accessibility Feedback
Jodi Callan, Project Manager, Policy and Innovation Unit, Transportation Services, will give a presentation on CaféTO 2021. The presentation is to discuss the upcoming CaféTO program for 2021, including proposed program improvements related to accessibility for those dining in the cafés and using the road and sidewalks near cafés as well as new educational resources for restaurant and bar operators about steps to take to make their spaces accessible.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee: 1. Communicates its support to the Executive Committee, for consideration with the next staff report on CaféTO, for the enhanced 2021CaféTO Guidebook and its ongoing refinement through consultation with persons living with disabilities.

The City Clerk's Office has received notice of the following resignations from the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee: · Karima Ewig - November 16, 2020 · Michael Miceli - November 26, 2020 Staff from the Public Appointments Secretariat in the City Clerk's Office and Equity, Diversity, and Human Rights in the People and Equity Office are working on a process to recruit applicants and help bring a nominated candidate to City Council for their consideration.
