At the invitation of the Chair, Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee, Mayor John Tory will address the Committee.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends that: 1. City Council request the Mayor to establish a task force on Accessible Housing. 2. The Executive Committee direct the City Manager to report to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee with information on all accessibility initiatives that have been approved as part of the 2022 approved budget, as well as those being considered, undertaken or planned for the City of Toronto, along with timelines and necessary funding required for implementation, to allow for the Committee's input on priorities.

Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam, Chair, Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee has submitted a final Chair's report extending appreciation and providing a summary of the Committee's accomplishments.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee: 1. Requested the Vice Chairs, Toronto Accessibility Committee to send a letter to Kristyn Wong-Tam to convey best wishes and the Committee's appreciation for her leadership, service and accomplishments toward improving accessibility in the City of Toronto.

2022 Election Accessibility Plan
Fiona Murray, Deputy City Clerk, Toronto Elections will give a presentation on the 2022 Election Accessibility Plan, providing an overview of initiatives aimed at improving accessibility for voters and candidates with disabilities during an election cycle.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee recommends that: 1. The Executive Committee direct the Deputy City Clerk, Toronto Election Services to report back to the June 13, 2022 Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee on how those who relied on at-home voting will be accommodated in the upcoming municipal election.

Janice Alvares, Manager, Equity Unit, People and Equity Division; and Srijoni Rahman, Equity Consultant, Equity Unit, People and Equity Division will give a presentation to provide an overview of the City's Equity Lens Tool. It will highlight key features of the Tool, include a live demo and share key updates.

Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy - Accessibility Update
Heather Marshall, Policy Development Officer, Social Development, Finance and Administration will give a presentation on Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy - Accessibility Update. The presentation includes updates on improving access to the Fair Pass Program, data insights on Toronto residents with disabilities living in poverty, and next steps the Poverty Reduction Strategy Office will take in collecting and utilizing disability data.

Automated Micro-utility Devices - Accessibility Feedback
Ryan Lanyon, Manager, Strategic Policy and Innovation, Transportation Services will give a presentation on Automated Micro-utility Devices - Accessibility Feedback. As directed by Toronto City Council, staff are conducting a study by consulting with and engaging stakeholders, on the potential impacts and benefits arising from the use of micro-utility devices, and have also conducted a Transportation Innovation Challenge. The presentation will give an update on these initiatives and seek accessibility feedback from the Committee.
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee: 1. Deferred the consideration of the item to the next meeting of Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee on June 13, 2022, or to a special meeting called by the Vice Chair.
