Megan Drupals, Toronto Urban Fellow; and Michael Hain, Program Manager, Policy and Analysis Unit, Transportation Planning will give a presentation on Accessible Parking Review. Transportation Planning is undertaking Phase 2 of their review of the Zoning By-Law for New Developments, which includes a review of Accessible Parking Space requirements. We will discuss our current data and data collection strategies, proposed outreach, and initial considerations for by-law updates.

Maximizing Accessibility in City-Led Housing Development
Noah Slater, Director, Housing Development, Renewal and Improvement, Housing Secretariat will give a presentation on the update on the work of the Accessible Housing Working Group who is tasked by Council to review accessibility requirements in City-led housing development projects. A report is due back from the group in the new year, with recommendations.

Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee 2024 Meeting Schedule
The Terms of Reference for the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee state that the Committee will hold up to six meetings per year at the call of the Chair or Vice-Chairs on delegation of the Chair. The Chair has scheduled the following meetings for 2024: Monday February 5, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Monday May 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Monday June 24, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Friday September 6, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday October 17, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday December 11, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. City Council on October 11 and 12, 2023, approved the 2024 schedule of meetings for City Council and its Committees. The schedule of meetings for Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee has been developed to avoid dates, whenever possible, that conflict with the approved City Council schedule; and to avoid days of cultural or religious significance.
