Improving Accessible Vehicle-for-Hire Services
Josh Cho, Policy Development Officer, and Tobiah Abramson, Policy and Planning Advisor, Policy and Planning Services Unit, Municipal Licensing and Standards Division will provide a presentation on the ongoing vehicle-for-hire review and seek feedback on specific proposals to improve the quality and availability of accessible vehicle-for-hire services.

Spinal Cord Injury Ontario Presentation - Accessible Taxi and Vehicle for Hire Services
Peter Athanasopoulos, Director, Public Policy, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (SCIO) will give a presentation. SCIO is a community organization supporting people with disabilities for almost 80 years. This presentation intends to provide insight from the community on how people with disabilities are struggling and adapting to on demand accessible vehicle for hire services, including recommendations to improve services and processes towards becoming a gold standard in accessible transportation services in Toronto.

The Multi-Year Accessibility Plan is the City's 5-year strategy to identify, remove and prevent disability-related barriers across the organization. The strategy is currently under review. Pam Ward, Principal, The Strategic Counsel will present key findings of the public consultation, conducted on behalf of the City of Toronto, to inform the review and development of the 2025 - 2029 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. They will provide an overview of the research objectives and methodology, as well as top priorities for improving accessibility at the City, as identified by the research.

Accessible Parking Review Update
Mathulan Manikkarajan, Transportation Planner, will give a presentation on the Accessible Parking Review to provide an update on the proposals and recommendations that have been developed to update the standards in Zoning By-law 569-2013.
