Quotes were requested and received by three (3) suppliers, the recommendation is to approve procurement of cable meeting the requirements and specifications indicated.

Multi-Modal Transportation and Event Operations and Logistics Study
Urban transportation is undergoing major transformations, driven in part by the emergence of new technologies. These changes are putting pressure on public streets to be used in new and unanticipated ways, while also presenting potential opportunities to improve the transportation system. This report provides the findings and recommendations of the Multi-Modal Transportation and Event Operations and Logistics Study to the Board for consideration. Both studies provide recommendations that enhance pedestrian connectivity to and within Exhibition Place while optimizing event logistics for our tenants and show clients. Attached in Appendix A of this report are WSP's findings and recommendations regarding the design of a reimagined pedestrian and event operations and logistics network. Staff from WSP will deliver a presentation to the Board that summarizes the study and engagement activity and outline the design recommendations at its meeting of February 2, 2024.
The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place: 1. Approved the final WSP recommendations in Appendix A to the report (January 19, 2024), from the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place. 2. Authorized the Chief Executive Officer, Exhibition Place to finish Phase 2 Feasibility Study and initiate the design phase based on the WSP Phase 1 recommendations and the outcome recommendations from Phase 2 Feasibility Study and report back to the Board.

This report responds to City Council's July 19, 2023, direction that requests City agencies and corporations to adopt and amend their organization's Executive Compensation Policy to align with the City Guiding Principles for the Development of Senior Executive Compensation. Further, City Council directed the Boards of City agencies and corporations to provide their Board-approved adopted or amended Executive Compensation Policy to the City Manager by the first quarter of 2024.

Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Association Appointment for 2024
In January of each year, a Notice of Appointment of a Representative is received from the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (RAWF) requesting the appointment of one representative of the Board of Governors to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Association . As a member association of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, The Board is allowed to name one representative to the Royal's Board of Governors for the 2024 year. Community Liaison Consultation Meeting - November 15, 2023
This report summarizes the program items at the Community Liaison Consultation in person and virtual meeting held on November 15, 2023. Hosting the meeting was Board Member Peter Leon. Exhibition Place staff in attendance included Kelvin Seow - Chief People and Strategy Officer, Judy Mahoney - Director, Sales and Marketing, Prashant Bhalja - Director, Capital Works, LongFei Chen, IT Systems, Catherine de Nobriga, Tenant and Community Relations Coordinator, and Debbie Sanderson, Executive Assistant to the CEO. Fifteen (15) community members attended the meeting; four (4) in person and eleven (11) virtually. The meeting lasted approximately one and one-half hours.

Public Appointments to the Board
At its meeting held December 13, 14 and 15, 2023, City Council considered Item CA9.1 - Appointment of Public Members to the Exhibition Place Board, and appointed the following two public members to the Exhibition Place Board of Governors for a term of office starting December 16, 2023 and ending December 16, 2027, and until successors are appointed: - Malcolm Bromley - Aakanksha Verma As part of this process, Peter Leon and Tess Romain terms of office on the board came to an end effective December 15, 2023.
