Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee: Work plan, 2024-2026
A final version of the 2024-2026 work plan for the Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee has been developed.
The Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee recommends that the Economic and Community Development Committee: 1. Request the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, to invite representatives from the Théâtre français de Toronto to give a presentation at the January 27, 2025, meeting of the Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee. 2. Request the General Manager, Seniors Services and Long-Term Care to give a presentation at the January 27, 2025, meeting of the Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee on the Toronto Seniors Strategy 3.0. 3. Request the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, in consultation with the City Manager, to report back to the Toronto Francophone Affairs Advisory Committee on January 27, 2025, on the feasibility of creating an inventory of City-delivered services in French, including those that have been downloaded by the Province of Ontario to the City of Toronto and are required under the French Language Services Act, and those provided voluntarily in French.
