Review of Appeals to the 2019 Toronto Urban Health Fund Grants
The Toronto Urban Health Fund Review Panel to consider appeals to the allocation of 2019 grants.
The Toronto Urban Health Fund Review Panel recommends to the Board of Health that: 1. The Board of Health approve additional funding in the amount of $4,658.00 for the Street Health Community Nursing Foundation for the Evening Harm Reduction Group Project. 2. T he Board of Health approve additional funding in the amount of $325.00 for the For Youth Initiative in Toronto for the Studio Project at For Youth Initiative. 3. The Board of Health approve the following additional projects for the funding indicated: Organization, Project Name Year - Funding Recommendation Scadding Court Community Centre HeARTwork 2019 - $48,547.00 2-Spirited People of the First Nation Inawendiwag (they are related); Restoring kinship is harm reduction and HIV prevention 2019 - $21,700.00 Flemingdon Health Centre Community Consultation - Roma Youth Residents of Flemingdon and Thorncliffe Park 2019 - $55,305.00
