Staff from Municipal Licensing and Standards will present recent changes to requirements, processes, and costs for noise monitoring that may be required at specific outdoor events/activities that have been issued a noise exemption permit.
The Toronto Music Advisory Committee: 1. Requested Municipal Licensing and Standards to work with the Music Office to enhance communication with event organizers requiring noise monitoring and to report back to the committee in Q2 of 2025 on any refinements to the noise monitoring process. 2. Requested Municipal Licensing and Standards as part of the budget process to explore reductions in noise monitoring fees charged to event organizers.

Relocation of the It’s Ok* Community Arts Studio
City staff will update members on work to identify suitable City-owned space as future leased premises for It's OK* Community Arts on completion of the term at 468 Queen Street West.
