  Notice of Member Absences on Committee of Adjustment, Scarborough District

  The purpose of this report is to advise the Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment that a member of the Committee of Adjustment, Scarborough District has been absent from three consecutive hearings without permission from the Committee.

  The Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment: 1. Deferred consideration of the Item until the April 8, 2024 meeting of the Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment.

  The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment review Attachment 1 from the Director, Zoning and Secretary-Treasurer, Committee of Adjustment and take appropriate action.

  Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Committee of Adjustment

  The Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment by City Council to the Committee of Adjustment. The Nominating Panel will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend three candidates to City Council for appointment.

Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (March 12, 2024) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Committee of Adjustment.

  Staff recommendation as filed

  The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment select 9 candidates listed in Table 1 of Confidential Attachment 1 to interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Committee of Adjustment. 2. The Nominating Panel - Committee of Adjustment direct that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Committee of Adjustment.
