Appointment of Public Members to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board
The Corporations Nominating Panel will conduct interviews and recommend five public members to City Council for appointment to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board.
The Corporations Nominating Panel recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending May 6, 2023, continuing to serve until successors are appointed: Lawrence D'Souza Linda Jackson Warren Law Brenda Parris Maureen Quigley, as Chair 2. City Council appoint the following two candidates to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board as Tenant Directors, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending May 6, 2023, continuing to serve until successors are appointed: Carrie MacNeil Jim Meeks 3. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1, 2 and 3 to the report (April 8, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board. 4. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the supplementary report (April 8, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board.

The Interim City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Corporations Nominating Panel recommend five public members, including one as Chair, to City Council for appointment to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending May 6, 2023, continuing to serve until successors are appointed. 2. City Council direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1-3 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board.
