  Appointment of Tenant Director to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors

  City Council on November 9, 10 and 12, 2021, referred Item CC37.10 back to the Corporations Nominating Panel for further consideration. Summary from the report (October 15, 2021) from the City Clerk on Appointment of Tenant Director to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors [Item NC15.1]: The Corporations Nominating Panel will recommend a public member, tenant representative to City Council for appointment to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors.

  The Corporations Nominating Panel: 1. Directed the City Clerk to conduct another selection process for the public member, tenant representative on the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors and directed the City Clerk to focus outreach to target candidates from Scarborough.

  Staff recommendation as filed

  The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Corporations Nominating Panel recommend the candidate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to City Council for appointment as a public member, tenant representative on the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending March 10, 2023, continuing to serve until a successor is appointed. 2. City Council direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about an identifiable individual being considered for appointment to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors.
