The Corporations Nominating Panel will conduct interviews and recommend a candidate to City Council to fill the role of Chair of the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board.

Staff recommendation as filed
The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Corporations Nominating Panel recommend a public member to City Council for appointment as Chair of the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending May 6, 2023, continuing to serve until a successor is appointed. 2. City Council direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1-5 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Seniors Housing Corporation Board.

Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board of Directors
The Corporations Nominating Panel will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board. The Corporations Nominating Panel will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend one candidate to fill a vacancy on the board.
The Corporations Nominating Panel referred Item NC19.2 back to the City Clerk and directed the City Clerk to conduct further recruitment for the position of Chair on the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board.

The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Corporations Nominating Panel select 5 candidates listed in Table 1 of Confidential Attachment 1 for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board. 2. The Corporations Nominating Panel direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board.
