The Corporations Nominating Panel will consider the appointment of the new President and Chief Executive Officer, Destination Toronto to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Board.
The Corporations Nominating Panel recommends that: 1. City Council appoint Andrew Weir, President and Chief Executive Officer, Destination Toronto, to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending June 29, 2027, and until a successor is appointed. 2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (May 6, 2024) from the City Clerk remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about an identifiable individual being considered for appointment to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Board.

The City Clerk recommends that: 1. City Council appoint Andrew Weir, President and Chief Executive Officer, Destination Toronto to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending June 29, 2027, and until a successor is appointed. 2. Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Toronto Hydro Board
The Corporations Nominating Panel will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board. The Corporations Nominating Panel will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend seven candidates, including a Chair, to City Council for appointment.

The Corporations Nominating Panel direct that Confidential Attachments 1 to 3 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Hydro Board.
