Property Standards Committee - Appointment of Public Members
The Nominating Panel - Property Standards Committee will conduct interviews and recommend nine candidates to City Council for appointment to the Property Standards Committee.
The Nominating Panel - Property Standards Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following candidate to the Toronto and East York Panel of the Property Standards Committee for a term of office ending May 15, 2023 and until a successor is appointed: Stephen Job 2. City Council appoint the following candidates to the Property Standards Committee for a term of office ending May 5, 2025 and until successors are appointed: Etobicoke York Panel James Douglas Lawrence Lo North York Panel Kevin King Robert Ruggiero Scarborough Panel Lisa Mallia Jan Seaborn Toronto and East York Panel Johanna Braden Laura Herbert 3. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1, 2, 3, and 4 to the report (April 8, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Property Standards Committee.

The Interim City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Nominating Panel - Property Standards Committee recommend that City Council appoint: a. 1 public member to the Toronto and East York Panel of the Property Standards Committee for a term of office ending May 15, 2023 and until a successor is appointed; and b. 2 public members to each of the Etobicoke York, North York, Scarborough, and Toronto and East York Panels of the Property Standards Committee for a term of office ending May 5, 2025 and until successors are appointed. 2. City Council direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1, 2, 3, and 4 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Property Standards Committee.
