Members will continue their work planning process. Staff from Toronto Shelter and Support Services, Housing Secretariat, and Employment and Social Services will present on their work and its impact on 2SLGBTQ+ communities, for consideration by the Committee.

Staff from Toronto Fire Services will provide an update on outreach and retention work with a focus on 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion, and seek relevant feedback from the Committee.

Parks, Forestry and Recreation Registration and Booking Transformation Project
Parks, Forestry and Recreation is replacing its registration and booking software in the fourth quarter of 2024. Staff presented at the January 31, 2024 meeting and received feedback from the advisory committee. The purpose of this presentation is to provide an update on the gender data collection in the registration and booking system.

This presentation provides an inter-divisional update, as directed by 2021.EX26.14 . Staff will present on steps taken to review Divisional booking policies, procedures, guidelines, and complaints processes for permitted use of City facilities, and provide updates and next steps toward strengthening City permitting administration. This is a presentation co-led by Parks, Forestry and Recreation, Economic Development And Culture, Corporate Real Estate Management, and Transportation Services.

Staff from the ConnectTO program, Technology Services will present on the development of Toronto's Expanded Free Public Wi-Fi Strategy. The presentation will include an overview of Wi-Fi today, proposed areas of focus, and the team's approach to public consultation, inviting the Committee to provide feedback early in the process.
