The Chief of Protocol, Strategic Protocol and External Relations, City Clerk's Office, will give an overview presentation on Strategic Protocol and External Relations and consult on the 2022 Work Plan for the City of Toronto's recognition approach for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer recognition initiatives.
The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee: 1. Requested the Chief of Protocol to incorporate the Committee's feedback into the 2022 Work Plan for the City's recognition approach for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer recognition initiatives.

A Preliminary Service Plan for Transgender and Non-binary Youth
The Director, Community Resource Section and the Manager, Youth Development, Social Development, Finance and Administration, will give a presentation to the Committee. The presentation will discuss efforts to develop a preliminary service plan for youth who identify as Non-binary, Trans and Two-Spirit. A Preliminary Service Plan for Transgender and Non-binary Youth is the result of Council direction for a second Toronto Youth Equity Strategy in the form of a gender-based violence action plan targeted to youth who are most vulnerable to facing gender-based violence in Toronto.
The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee: 1. Requested the Director, Community Resource Section and the Manager, Youth Development, Social Development, Finance and Administration, to incorporate the Committee's feedback into the development of a Preliminary Service Plan for Transgender and Non-binary Youth. 2. Recommended that the Director, Community Resource Section and the Manager, Youth Development, Social Development, Finance and Administration convene a table of Transgender, Two-Spirit, and Non-Binary individuals with lived experience to provide advice on what meaningful community engagement looks like to inform staff's work in developing a service plan for youth who identify as Non-binary, Trans and Two-Spirit as part of the Toronto Youth Equity Strategy.

Actions to Respond to the Drug Poisoning Crisis in Toronto
The Associate Director, Toronto Drug Strategy Secretariat, will give an overview of actions being taken to respond to the drug poisoning crisis.
The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee: 1. Requested the Executive Committee to direct the Medical Officer of Health and the Associate Director, Toronto Drug Strategy Secretariat to: a. create a specific Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Drug Strategy as a component of the Toronto Drug Strategy; b. incorporate the Committee's feedback into the creation of the strategy and consult with Sherbourne Health, AIDS service organizations, The 519 and other Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer health service providers; c. create educational materials and campaigns with the objective of promoting sexual health as it relates to the strategy and ending the stigma and discrimination that members of the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer community face; and d. request the Provincial and Federal Governments to invest in the development and implementation of the strategy. 2. Endorsed and supported the Actions to Respond to the Drug Poisoning Crisis in Toronto. 3. Recommended that the Associate Director, Toronto Drug Strategy Secretariat, present an update on implementation of the Toronto Drug Strategy to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee in 2022.
