The Access Plan for Two-Spirit Trans and Non-Binary Youth
The Access Plan for Two-Spirit, Trans and Non-Binary Youth (ages 12-29) is the City's first coordinated initiative to improve health and social outcomes for gender-diverse people in Toronto. Social Development, Finance and Administration will be presenting an update on the development and implementation of the 56 actions outlined in the Plan. Social Development, Finance and Administration previously brought a draft of the Plan to the 2SLGBTQ+ Advisory Committee in 2021 ( 2021.QS4.3 ).

Proposed Work Plan Development Exercise, 2023 - 2026, Phase 2
Members will continue their work planning process. Staff from Toronto Public Health and Social Development, Finance and Administration will present on their work and its impact on 2SLGBTQ+ communities, for consideration by the Committee.
The Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Advisory Committee: 1. Requested the Director, Equity and Human Rights, People and Equity to develop a list of 3 priority issues based on the Committee's discussion, and report back to the next Committee meeting on January 23, 2025.

New Appointment to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Advisory Committee
At its meeting held October 9 and 10, 2024, City Council appointed Apt'sqi'gnn to the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (2SLGBTQ+) Advisory Committee for a term of office ending on November 14, 2026, or until their mandate is completed, whichever comes first. This new appointment fills the position previously held by Morrigana Townsend whose term of office came to an end on July 5, 2024.
