  One Year Extension of Electronic Meeting Rules

  At its meeting of July 28 and 29, 2020, City Council adopted Item EX15.21, and in so doing has authorized its local boards to extend or adopt remote electronic meeting rules for a period of one year following the later of the termination of the Provincial emergency and the termination of the municipal emergency related to the issue of COVID-19.

  The Board of Directors of CreateTO: 1. Amended By-law 1-2018 and adopted the draft bill in Attachment 1 to the report (August 11, 2020) from the City Clerk to extend the remote electronic participation rules for a period ending one year following the termination of the COVID-19 emergency declaration under section 4 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

  Staff recommendation as filed

  The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Board of Directors of CreateTO amend By-law 1-2018 and adopt the draft bill in Attachment 1 to extend the remote electronic participation rules for a period ending one year following the termination of the COVID-19 emergency declaration under section 4 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

  Human Resources Review - Update

  The Board of Directors of CreateTO will discuss an update related to Human Resources Review for CreateTO. This report and its confidential attachments respond to the confidential instructions issued by the Board in closed session at its meeting of July 23, 2020 on Item RA14.7 - Human Resources Review Update.

  The Board of Directors of CreateTO: 1. Confirmed its actions taken in closed session in issuing confidential instructions. 2. Directed that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (August 11, 2020) from the Vice Chair, CreateTO remain confidential in their entirety, as they contain personal information about an identifiable person, employee negotiations and advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege.

  The Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, CreateTO recommends that: 1. The Board of Directors of CreateTO direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in their entirety, as they contain information about an identifiable person, employee negotiations and advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege.
