Bargaining Mandate for Negotiations with IATSE Local 58 at Sony Centre for the Performing Arts
This purpose of this report is to seek Board approval for a bargaining mandate to negotiate the collective agreement with IATSE Local 58, which expires on March 31, 2019.
The Human Resources, Compensation and Labour Relations Committee recommends that: 1. The Board of Directors of Civic Theatres Toronto authorize Civic Theatres Toronto management to negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement with IATSE Local 58, as detailed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (December 5, 2018) from the President and Chief Executive Officer, Civic Theatres Toronto. 2. The Board of Directors of Civic Theatres Toronto direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (December 5, 2018) from the President and Chief Executive Officer, Civic Theatres Toronto remain confidential in its entirety, as it contains information about bargaining positions to be applied to negotiations with IATSE Local 58 to be carried on by or on behalf of the Board of Directors of Civic Theatres Toronto.
