  Election of the Chair of the Nominating Panel - Toronto Local Appeal Body under Municipal Code Chapter 27, Council Procedures, Appendix A2, for a term of office until a successor is appointed.

  Selection of Candidates for Interview for the Toronto Local Appeal Body

  The Nominating Panel - Toronto Local Appeal Body will select candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Toronto Local Appeal Body. The Nominating Panel will conduct interviews at its next meeting and recommend six candidates to City Council for appointment.

Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (December 18, 2023) from the City Clerk remain confidential in its entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Local Appeal Body.

  The City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Nominating Panel - Toronto Local Appeal Body select 12 candidates listed in Table 1 of Confidential Attachment 1 for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Local Appeal Body. 2. The Nominating Panel - Toronto Local Appeal Body direct that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Local Appeal Body.
