Preceding Onex, Leslie was the Tax, Trade, and International Finance Policy Advisor to the Canadian Minister of Finance in addition to prior experience at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and in investment banking at CIBC. Leslie is the Vice Chair of Rise Asset Development's Investment Committee.

Leslie is a former national team athlete in kayaking and a graduate of Acadia University. Brenda Patterson Brenda Patterson joined the former Regional Municipality of Metro Toronto in 1986. Prior to joining the Metro government she worked in a series of progressive positions with Family Day Care Services. In 2004 Brenda was appointed General Manager, Children's Services at the City of Toronto and in 2008 became the General Manager of Parks, Forestry and Recreation. In 2011 she was appointed Deputy City Manager and retired from the City in 2014. Brenda has a passion for equity and making life better for those in need, service excellence and fiscal prudence.
