This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws. Transportation Services is requesting North York Community Council to authorize the installation of an accessible parking space on the west side of Elm Road. The installation of the accessible parking space will address the needs of a local resident, while reducing the available on-street parking by one space.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that North York Community Council: 1. Authorize the installation of the on-street accessible parking space on the west side of Elm Road, from a point 21 metres south of Douglas Avenue to a point 5.5 metres further south.
