Standing Prohibitions - Thatcher Avenue, Larwood Boulevard, St. Quentin Avenue, Gradwell Drive, Redland Crescent East and West

As a result of requests from Councillor Crawford's office, area residents and Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division, Transportation Services staff reviewed the traffic and parking operations in the Bluffers Park neighbourhood. In order to mitigate traffic and parking congestion during the Park's seasonal weekends and public holidays, staff recommends prohibiting standing on one side of the residential streets that are negatively impacted by the overwhelming number of people visiting Bluffers Park and parking on residential streets for extended periods. Visitors to the park are continuously parking on both sides of neighbourhood streets blocking residential driveways and preventing safe and two-way traffic movements as well as access/egress maneuvers by local residents and Emergency Services.

Scarborough Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays on the west side of St. Quentin Avenue, from Barkdene Hills to Kingston Road. 4. Scarborough Community Council prohibit standing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from May 1 to September 30 of each year, on the west side of St. Quentin Avenue, from Barkdene Hills to Kingston Road. 5. Scarborough Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, on the east side of Larwood Boulevard, from Barkdene Hills to the south end of Larwood Boulevard. 6. Scarborough Community Council prohibit standing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from May 1 to September 30 of each year, on the east side of Larwood Boulevard, from Barkdene Hills to the south end of Larwood Boulevard. 7. Scarborough Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays on the south side of Redland Crescent East, from Larwood Boulevard to the east end of Redland Crescent East. 8. Scarborough Community Council prohibit standing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from May 1 to September 30 of each year, on the south side of Redland Crescent East, from Larwood Boulevard to the east limit of Redland Crescent East. 9. Scarborough Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays on the south side of Redland Crescent West, from the west end of Redland Crescent West to Larwood Boulevard. 10. Scarborough Community Council prohibit standing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from May 1 to September 30 of each year, on the south side of Redland Crescent West, from Larwood Boulevard to the west limit of Redland Crescent West. 11. Scarborough Community Council prohibit standing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from May 1 to September 30 of each year, on the west side of Gradwell Drive, from a point 50 metres south of Kingston Road to the south end of Gradwell Drive.
