To obtain Scarborough Community Council approval for the amendment of the Fire Route By-law to amend the designation of the property municipally known as 1-70 Eglinton Square as a fire route within the meaning of City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 880, as amended. The fire route in question was listed with the incorrect municipal address of 1-70 Eglinton Avenue East with the transfer of the old Scarborough Fire Route By-Law addresses to the new Chapter 880.

Staff recommended

The Fire Chief and General Manager, Toronto Fire Services recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council designate part or those parts of the private road or roads shown on the site plan filed with the Fire Chief in respect of the municipal address set out below, as fire route pursuant to Municipal Code Chapter 880 - Fire Route - 1-70 Eglinton Square. 2. Scarborough Community Council authorize the Fire Chief and City Solicitor to take the appropriate action to make a designated Fire Route.
