This staff report is about a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is requesting approval to replace the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Bonis Avenue, with no stopping at all times on the south side of Bonis Avenue between Kennedy Road and a point 175 metres west. This stopping prohibition is required to prevent large tour buses from blocking eastbound traffic while loading/unloading at this location.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the south side of Bonis Avenue, between Kennedy Road and a point 74 metres west. 2. Scarborough Community Council prohibit stopping at all times on the south side of Bonis Avenue, between Kennedy Road and a point 175 metres west.
