Scarborough Community Council: 1. Prohibited stopping at all times on both sides of Redlea Avenue, between Steeles Avenue East and the end of Redlea Avenue.

This staff report is about a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is requesting approval to prohibit stopping on the east side of Redlea Avenue, between Steeles Avenue East and a point 146 metres south. This stopping prohibition is required to prevent large tour buses from blocking northbound traffic while parking and loading/unloading at this location.

Staff recommended

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Scarborough Community Council prohibit stopping at all times on the east side of Redlea Avenue, between Steeles Avenue East and a point 146 metres south.
