City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following: 1. City Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Scott Street, between a point 43 metres north of The Esplanade and a point 11 metres further north. 2. City Council prohibit standing at all times on the west side of Scott Street, between a point 43 metres north of The Esplanade and a point 11 metres of further north.

As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Scott Street, City Council approval of this report is required. Transportation Services is requesting approval to rescind the existing parking prohibition on the west side of Scott Street, between Front Street East and The Esplanade, and implement a standing prohibition in its place. The proposed standing prohibition is recommended in order to improve access to the pumping station for Toronto Water.
