Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Chapman Avenue, between a point 177 metres west of Dawes Road and a point 318 metres west of Dawes Road. 2. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the south side of Chapman Avenue, between Dawes Road and George Webster Road. 3. Authorized parking for a maximum period of 15 minutes from 7:00 a.m.

Designated Chapman Avenue as a through highway from the west side of George Webster Road to the east side of Elmont Drive, and from the west side of Dawes Road to the east side of George Webster Road.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws. Transportation Services staff is requesting approval to designate two maximum 15-minute pick-up/drop-off areas on the north side of Chapmen Avenue, between Dawes Road and Munford Crescent, in order to facilitate parents and guardians to pick-up/drop-off students attending George Webster Elementary School, located at 50 Chapman Avenue.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services, recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Chapman Avenue, between a point 177 metres west of Dawes Road and a point 318 metres west of Dawes Road. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the south side of Chapman Avenue, between Dawes Road and George Webster Road.
