Transportation Services is requesting approval from City Council to reduce the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h on Dufferin Street, between College Street and Sylvan Avenue. In response to residents' concerns, Transportation Services staff reviewed a request for a 40 km/h speed limit on Dufferin Street, between Queen Street West and Sylvan Avenue. The results of the assessment indicate that the more appropriate speed limit on this section of Dufferin Street would be 40 km/h.
