At its meeting on November 14, 2017, Toronto and East York Community Council adopted Item TE28.63, approving the installation of a planter box on the south side of Busy Street, west of Verral Avenue. However, residents have reported that the planter is not working as anticipated and has attracted litter and graffiti. They have requested that the planter be removed and alternate solutions considered.

Councillor Paula Fletcher recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council approve the removal of the planter box on the south side of Busy Street, west of Verral Avenue. 2. Toronto and East York Community Council direct Transportation Services to investigate modifying the corner of Verral and Busy using flexible posts and line painting.
