The decision

2019-01-15 · Toronto and East York Community Council · adopted

As filed

The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Prohibited parking at all times on the north side of Earlsdale Avenue, between a point 28 metres west of Oakwood Avenue and 15 metres further west.

On the agenda

As the city filed it

On the north side of Earlsdale Avenue, west of Oakwood Avenue, there is 'no parking' regulation in place. This regulation ends just before the curb becomes a ramp, which provides access to several commercial boulevard parking spaces. Oftentimes there is legal parking from where the 'no parking' regulation ends, however, it continues in front of the existing ramp. As a result, access to and from the boulevard parking is blocked.

The purpose of this motion is to extend the 'no parking' regulation west in order to prevent parking in front to the existing ramp.
