In reference to item CC7.11, Zoning By-law Amendment Application - Request for Direction Regarding Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Hearing http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/viewAgendaItemHistory.do?item=2019.CC7.11 the exclusion of the development located at 1200 Dundas Street West from the 3J permit parking area is a means to ensure that current permit holders have sufficient parking space. The issuance of parking permits to residents of these developments would negatively impact the already limited supply of parking spaces.

Councillor Bailão is requesting approval from Toronto and East York Community Council to prohibit the General Manager, Transportation Services, from accepting applications from residents of, visitors to, and tradespersons at the subject development property. Residents have reported that it is difficult to find a parking space close to home. The area cannot absorb the potential influx of parked vehicles from another development.
