On December 3, 2019, with the adoption of item TE11.73, Toronto and East York Community Council approved a reduction in the speed limit on Old Weston Road, between Davenport Road and Lavender Road, from 50 km/h to 40 km/h. The remaining stretch of Old Weston Road, between Lavender Road and Rogers Road, falls within the boundaries of Etobicoke York Community Council and continues to have a speed limit of 50 km/h. The speed limit should be reduced so that all of Old Weston Road has a 40 km/h speed limit.

Staff recommended

That Etobicoke York Community Council: 1. Reduce the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h on Old Weston Road, between Lavender Road and Rogers Road.
