City Council on June 29 and 30, 2020, adopted the following: 1. City Council authorize the City of Toronto, as landlord, to enter into a nominal sum lease agreement with Toronto Community Housing Corporation, as tenant, for a term of 50 years less one day, substantially on the major terms and conditions set out in Appendix A to the report (February 21, 2020) from the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management, including such other terms and conditions as deemed appropriate by the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management or designate, and in a form acceptable to the City Solicitor.

2. City Council direct that the lease agreement shall include an easement reserved in favour of the City for the protection of Toronto Water services and utilities in the closed laneway, on terms and conditions deemed appropriate by the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management in consultation with the General Manager, Toronto Water, and in a form acceptable to the City Solicitor.
