The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is a set of security standards designed to ensure that all companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Toronto Parking Authority is seeking to certify as a Level 1 Merchant in order to continue working with major payment card brands. A requirement is to develop and implement policies to protect cardholder data.
