City Council rescind the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the east side of Kingston Road, between Cliffside Drive and Midland Avenue. 2. City Council rescind the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect at all times on the north side of Kingston Road, between a point 39.5 metres east of Eastwood Avenue and Birchcliff Avenue.

As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Kingston Road, City Council approval of this report is required. The purpose of this report is to rescind the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the east side of Kingston Road, between Cliffside Drive and Midland Avenue. Removing the maximum one-hour parking regulation will address the business owners' concerns and allow for statutory maximum three-hour on-street parking for their customers.

During this investigation staff also noted several discrepancies in the existing parking regulations for Kingston Road, between Wood Glen Road and Birchmount Road. The proposed amendments in Recommendations 2 through 4 will correct these discrepancies.

City Council rescind the existing maximum one-hour parking regulation in effect at all times on the north side of Kingston Road, between a point 39.5 metres east of Eastwood Avenue and Birchcliff Avenue.
