Staff provide notice for a community consultation meeting to be given to landowners and residents within 300 metres of the site and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant.

This report provides information and identifies a preliminary set of issues regarding the Official Plan Amendment application for the northerly portion of the lands at 1891 Eglinton Avenue East, which is located within the draft Golden Mile Secondary Plan ("GMSP") area. The application proposes to add a new Site and Area Specific Policy ("SASP") to permit a mixed-use community consisting of six development blocks with buildings heights that range from 10 to 48 storeys, new public streets and public parkland.

Staff are currently reviewing the application. It has been circulated to all appropriate agencies and City divisions for comment.

The City Planning Division recommends that: 1. Staff schedule a community consultation meeting for the lands at 1891 Eglinton Avenue East, together with the Ward Councillor. 2. Staff provide notice for a community consultation meeting to be given to landowners and residents within 120 metres of the site and to additional residents, institutions and owners to be determined in consultation with the Ward Councillor, with any additional mailing costs to be borne by the applicant.
