As filed

The Toronto and East York Community Council: 1. Authorized all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Arundel Avenue and Ainsworth Road.

On the agenda

As the city filed it

Arundel Avenue is a residential street with one-way southbound traffic. I have heard from residents of Arundel Avenue about serious traffic safety concerns that threaten pedestrian safety and they contacted me to request enhanced safety measures in their community. My office has polled the street and 89% of residents support this installation. In order to improve resident and pedestrian safety, the installation of an all-way stop at this intersection is being requested.

Staff recommended

Councillor Fletcher recommends that: 1. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Arundel Avenue and Ainsworth Road.
