The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board: TPL2-283 TPL2-433 TPL2-434 TPL2-473 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (March 19, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.

There is currently one vacancy on the Toronto Public Library Board due to a recent resignation. The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates to interview for appointment to the Board. Following the interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee will recommend one candidate for appointment to City Council.

Staff recommended

The Interim City Clerk recommends that: 1. The Civic Appointments Committee select 6 of the candidates listed in Table 1 of Confidential Attachment 1 for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board. 2. The Civic Appointments Committee direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 remain confidential in its entirety as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.
