Appointment of Members to the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee
The report recommends the appointment of 14 public members to the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Council Advisory Committee.
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following 14 individuals to the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2022 or until the completion of its mandate, whichever comes first: Theophilus Adjei Apefa Adjivon Deborah Barnes Justice Betty Beverly-Jean Daniel Monicke Hanson Halimo Hashi Juanita Kwarteng Adam Lake Justine Namara Charis Newton-Thompson M. This report recommends the appointment of one public member to fill a recent vacancy on the TO Live Board of Directors.

City Council appoint Owais Lightwala to the TO Live Board of Directors, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending December 19, 2024, and until a successor is appointed. 2. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 18, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the TO Live Board of Directors.

PortsToronto - Appointment of a Public Member
The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates to interview for appointment to the PortsToronto Board of Directors. Following the interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee will recommend candidates for appointment to City Council.
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint Amanda Walton to the PortsToronto Board of Directors, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending April 1, 2024, and until a successor is appointed. 2. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 18, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the PortsToronto Board of Directors.

Toronto Public Library Board - Selection of Candidates for Interview
There is currently one vacancy on the Toronto Public Library Board due to a recent resignation. The Civic Appointments Committee must select candidates to interview for appointment to the Board. Following the interviews, the Civic Appointments Committee will recommend one candidate for appointment to City Council.
The Civic Appointments Committee: 1. Selected the following candidates for interview at its next meeting for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board: TPL2-283 TPL2-433 TPL2-434 TPL2-473 2. Directed that Confidential Attachments 1 and 2 to the report (March 19, 2021) from the Interim City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Public Library Board.

Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee - Appointment of Public Members to Fill Three Vacancies
The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee is composed of 12 members of the public and one Member of Toronto City Council. There are currently three public member vacancies due to the resignation of three Committee members. The Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee is a legislated requirement under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The purpose of this report is to have City Council appoint three members of the public to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee (TAAC).
The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that: 1. City Council appoint the following individuals to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on November 14, 2022, and until successors are appointed: Luke Anderson Ashleigh Molloy Lana Williams 2. City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 30, 2021) from the Chief People Officer remain confidential as it relates to personal information about identifiable individuals who are being considered for appointment to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee.
