The Board of Directors of TO Live: 1. Directed the President and Chief Executive Officer, TO Live to: a. forward the TO Live Budget submission, to the Executive Director, Financial Planning, City of Toronto, to review, discuss and provide advice on the submission and the budget process; and b. report back to the September 24, 2021 Board meeting with the results of the discussions and an updated budget submission. 2. Directed the TO Live staff to continue to prioritize Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access within the budget.

Directed that Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (May 21, 2021) from the President and Chief Executive Officer, TO Live and the confidential presentation remain confidential in their entirety because if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.

The purpose of this report is to provide the Board with detailed information on the 2022 plan and budget for consideration. The agenda for the June 18, 2021 Board meeting, including the 2022 Plan and Budget Presentation (Attachment 1), as well as Confidential Attachment 1, is being published and provided earlier than usual to allow Members of the Board and its Committees additional time to review the Budget materials.

The President and Chief Executive Officer, TO Live recommends that the Board of Directors of TO Live: 1. Approve the 2022 Plan and Budget, with a City subsidy request of $8.5M, as outlined in Attachment 1 and Confidential Attachment 1. 2. Direct that Confidential Attachment 1 remain confidential in its entirety because if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.
