Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times, on the east side of George Street from a point 202 metres north of King Street and Church Street, to be in effect at all times on the east side of George Street, between Fern Avenue and Church Street.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition, in effect at all times, on the east side of George Street be amended. The proposed amendment will provide additional short-term parking to facilitate pick-up and drop-off of school children at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School.

The Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services recommends that: 1. Etobicoke York Community Council amend the existing stopping prohibition in effect at all times, on the east side of George Street from King Street and a point 202 metres north of King Street, to be in effect at all times on the east side of George Street from King Street to a point 160 metres north. 2. Etobicoke York Community Council amend the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times, on the east side of George Street from a point 202 metres north of King Street and Church Street, to be in effect at all times on the east side of George Street, between Fern Avenue and Church Street.
