Speaker Nunziata advised Members of the following: For the benefit of those who are connected to the internet, the City Clerk has posted all of the agenda materials for today's meeting at toronto.ca/council. Members, although Civic Buildings, including City Hall are currently closed to the public, I want to emphasize that today's Council meeting is being conducted publicly and is being streamed live on YouTube. I want to welcome the public who are watching our meeting this afternoon. This special meeting of Council has been called for the following purposes: 1. to consider the tri-governmental transit funding and the purchase of Toronto Transit Commission streetcars, together with related supplementary materials; and 2. to introduce and enact a Confirming Bill for this special meeting. Members of Council, this is a special meeting. Under Council's Procedures, no new business items, such as Notices of Motions, may be introduced. This rule cannot be waived.
