The Board of Directors of CreateTO directed the Chief Executive Officer to: 1. Negotiate formal Community Benefit Agreements, recognized by the sector, for construction of Housing Now sites. 2. Meet with the Toronto Community Benefits Network to review the current formal agreements that exist for 10 percent hiring in construction. 3. Report back to the Board at the June 20, 2022 meeting regarding progress on the implementation of parts 1 and 2 above.

The Vice President, Development, CreateTO will provide a verbal update on progress that has been made on the Housing Now Initiative since the previous Board meeting and report back on the approach used to establish a successful Community Benefits Plan for the Housing Now sites.
